Bea started appearing as a part-time actress on Irish or British TV programs in the year 2009, began her career by performing stand-up comedy in the year 2011. She was already regularly performing on sketch comedy shows as well as sitcoms. After her victory in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was invited to appear on a number of panel shows. In 2016 through 2017, she served as the team captain for 8 Out of 10 Cats as well as a frequent participant on the spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.
